E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
I know it was a moving film about understanding, love, sacrifice. It was also unbelievably boring and underwhelming. And ET was not so ugly he was cute, he was just unpleasant looking. I think part of the reason I never cared for the movie was that by the time I was able to go see it, the buildup was so huge that nothing was going to live up to the hype. And for me that was about all I saw, a lot of hype.

Not even my love for Hugh Jackman could save this movie. It's the only movie I've walked out on in a theatre.

Harry potter, I just don't get it. I like fantasy all fine and good, perhaps it's the smugness of the british accents, but I just can't watch them.

I absolutely hate E.T. I’ve never understood why so many people like it. It is the longest, most boring movie ever. The only good thing about it is that it makes you want to eat Reese’s pieces and how cute mini Drew Barrymore is… Sorry all you E.T. lovers but I give it two thumbs down!

  I think it's a nostalgia thing... almost everyone my age (mid-30s) remembers this as their first movie. But you're right - watching it as an adult, it is pretty bad.

What can I say? I never got into it. This is choice #2 , though; choice #1 is A CHRISTMAS STORY. Choice #3 is definitely BORAT.... I HATE IT!!!

  @leopicado: except it's trying to be all serious and angsty! Scrubs I could take or leave, but at least it knows what it is- a silly little TV show. This stupid movie tried to "mean something". And for about six months after its release, it "meant something" to a bunch of high schoolers who then forgot about it.

I hated Transformers. I didn't find the "funny" parts funny, I thought it was stupid that every single authority figure was dumb, and the plot was dull. The effects were okay, but a good effects can't make a movie good.

Both Transformers movies. Ok so the graphics and action are cool. And maybe it's ruined for me since I'm a big fan of the original animated movie... but

- Starscream is a snivelling loser
- Megan Fox's character is completely annoying in every way possible
- In the second movie, the "old" transformer has a freakin machine beard
- There's a heaven for... autobots? Pleez.

I am a huge Cameron Crowe fan. This movie was gawd awful. Maybe it was the hype, maybe it was the over-powering stench of cliche, but without a doubt, I'm sure Kate Hudson's acting skills made this movie suck for me.

I don't know if I hate any movies, but I definitely feel indifferent about Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

  I loved these the first time around, but I never got to watching them a second time. In part because I know some parts are slow. Although that should not be a problem thanks to the FF button on the remote.
