I think my porch light needs a new fixture. I tried replacing the bulb but that didn't work. Related to that, the timer that controls the light is on some goofy schedule that I haven't taken the time (in the four years that I've lived here) to figure out how to change to something more useful.

@a_noob: Ha! I suppose the English do something sensible like 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Over here, there is a starting point. All of the numbers in the first block moving away from that point are numbered in the 100s, in the second block the 200s, and so on. I live in the 18th block from the starting point (Nicollet Mall downtown).

@a_noob: it's actually quite an easy way of doing it when you get used to it. As long as you're in a city. When you get on to winding country roads with this system it just gets weird.

My mistake. It's Hennepin Avenue that's the divider downtown and then Nicollet Avenue south of downtown. I know you'll be glad that I clarified that.

@soli: Idk what happened to mine. It was a pretty pricey camera "back in the day". It broke once, my fault, luckily I had warranty. I looked the other day, there are some super cameras for super cheap prices!

This is a 7ft tall cactus my grandma grew from a little stub. It's been neglected in her house since she died in January and I just got it moved yesterday. It definitely needs some TLC.
