The Highways Act 1562 - (sometimes the Second Statute of Highways) was an Act of the Parliament of England passed in 1563. The Act extended the provisions of the Highways Act 1555, by which every householder of a parish had to provide four days labour in a year on the highways, for a further twenty years, and made the requirement six days labour rather than four. Supervisors of highway work were empowered to take debris from quarries and dig for gravel without permission of the landowners. The Act also empowered Justices of the Peace at Quarter Sessions to investigate and punish supervisors in cases where they were in dereliction of their duties, imposing "such fines ... as shall be thought meet". - - So I guess, Instead of paying taxes, you help build/maintain it.

The NWA World Middleweight Championship (Campeonato Mundial Peso Medio de NWA in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Being a professional wrestling championship, it is not won legitimately: it is instead won via a scripted ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a storyline. The official definition of the middleweight weight class in Mexico is between 82 kg (180 lb) and 87 kg (190 lb), but is not always strictly enforced.[Note 1][1] Because Lucha Libre emphasizes the lower weight classes, this division is considered more important than the normally more prestigious heavyweight division of a promotion.[2]
The Championship was originally just called the "World Middleweight Championship", created and defended mainly in Mexico. Documentation confirms that Gus Kallio held the title in 1938 with indications that he may have held the title three times since the 1920 but without being able to confirm any specific dates or how he won the championship. In 1939 Octavio Gaona won the title and from that point forward the title became one of the main titles for Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL) based out of Mexico City, Mexico. When EMLL joined the National Wrestling Alliance in 1952, the title was given the prefix "NWA".[3] In the late 1980s EMLL withdrew from the NWA, they changed their name to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to create a clean break from their past NWA association. CMLL retained two NWA labeled titles, the Middlweight championship and the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship despite them no longer being officially recognized by the NWA.
The earliest recorded champion was Gus Kallio, having won it some time in the 1920s. Averno is the current NWA World Middleweight champion having defeated Místico on November 30, 2007. This is Averno's second NWA World Middleweight title reign and he is at least the 84th overall champion and the 45th person to hold the championship.[4]. René Guajardo has the most reigns, having held the title six times. Tarzán López's four reigns combine for 2,977 days, the most of any champion; while the Great Sasuke's single regin is the longest individual reign with 1,487 days. Oro is the person who has held the title the shortest time, 41 days.

It's about bondage xD
"Bondage refers to the use of restraints for the sexual pleasure of the parties involved. It may be used in its own right, as in the case of rope bondage and breast bondage, or as part of sexual activity or BDSM activity. When a person is sexually aroused by bondage, it may be considered a paraphilia, known as vincilagnia (from Latin vincio, to bind or fetter with chains, and lagneia, lust)."Nov 03, 2009 05:25 by sayuri-

"Runge (crater)
Runge is a lunar crater in the Mare Smythii, along the eastern edge of the Moon. It lies less than one crater diameter to the north-northwest of the very similar crater Warner. To the west-northwest is Haldane. Runge has been almost completely submerged by basaltic lava, leaving only a low, ring-shaped feature in the lunar mare. The rim has a gap at the southern end, and a pair of small craters lie near the exterior to either side of this opening."
This one is.... OUT THERE! Buh dum dum.

Vivir (song)
"Vivier" (Any Better) is the 4th single of Belinda's album Belinda. It served as the theme for the telenovela Corazones Al Limite (in which she would also act for a short time), and quickly gained airplay in in the charts. This song became her most successful song on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart.Nov 03, 2009 04:17 by jessicapeanut -

The Udaipur Solar Observatory (USO) is in Udaipur, Rajasthan in India on an island in the Fateh Sagar Lake. The sky conditions at Udaipur are quite favourable for solar observations. Since the observatory is situated amidst a large mass of water, air turbulence which occurs due to ground heating by sun's rays is decreased. This improves the image quality and accuracy (average between 1-2 arc seconds). The observatory was built in the year 1976 by Dr. Arvind Bhatanagar following the model of the Solar Observatory at Big Bear lake in Southern California. Later, he was joined by Dr. Ashok Ambastha in 1983 and subsequently by others who have contributed to its development.

Buddhism, as traditionally conceived, is a path of salvation attained through insight into the ultimate nature of reality .
Conventional narratives on the Buddha's life, such as the one below, draw heavily on Theravada Tipitaka scriptures. However, later texts, such as the Mahayana Lalitavistara Sutra, give different accounts.According to the conventional narrative, the Buddha was born in Ancient India, in the city of Lumbini, around the year 563 BCE, and raised in Kapilavastu; both in modern day Nepal. There's some pretty intense, complicated history connected to Tamil Nadu. This article is probably a reflection of that. Most of the local shop owners near my house seem to be Tamils. I chat to them sometimes.

@rabbitdan: I was commenting that the article only touches on their religion and the Church that's in their town. Whoever wrote it didn't think to spell "pattern of Our Lady of Assumption" correctly, and I'm sure there's much more interesting history behind the village and the people there. I'm sure they're lovely people, and as far as Wikipedia articles go, they got jipped.

@athanie: Yes it's a funny one isn't it? I was wondering if it hadn't been written by someone with a particular agenda who actually lives there. It's like English is their second language. But yes, end result: jipped.
