Nevertheless, a little fore-explanation to hang in there, it's not what you think, would have been appreciated for those of us who get emotional at the thought of a critter in distress. It does turn out to be an amusing little thing—if I hadn't been so shocked the first time and bailed, I might have noticed the mouse's little hands grasping the bar. The mouse didn't find much of interest here but one of his French cousins nicked my camera just over a week ago and took this in @coco-tidan and @brie-debajar 's kitchen. I think he must have been sitting on top of the fridge or something as that is a remarkable angle for a mouse.

1 - plane - if so, which kind? WW1 bi-plane? (which you appear to favour). F16 tomcat? (No that's just silly).
2- natural ability - ie levitation?

@rabbitdan: Yeah, scratch the plane idea. It would be rather hard to take the above shot while traveling at a trajectory. The flying ability would have to allow him to be stationary. So, either levitation, magic carpet, or a jet pack. I like the idea of the ikea rug--maybe he could still wear goggles and a scarf though. : )

@athanie: I was actually really enjoying the bi plane thing! But yes it was the goggles and scarf that did it. I think a jet pack is the way forward (upward). Because that means it's based in scientific reality. Worryingly, I'm beginning to rather like this mouse.
