@babybear: haha. That's how I feel about buying vintage and used stuff. I love feathers and I have these huge, amazing barettes that are obviously made from 5 different birds. I always planned, if someone made a stink about them, I would tell them I bought them at a church thrift store (which I did). So, it's not like I'm paying the people who plucked the birds.

I'm torn. I have a perfectly good (non-Apple) monitor and keyboard, so the Mini is all I "need," but after using a Cinema Display at the office for a few years, the lure of having one at home brings an iMac into consideration also.

I'm going back to the raw food diet starting on the 1st. I did it for 6 months last year, it is awesome. never felt better! I'd love one of those as well, haven't found one yet. Got a top of the line juicer though, that gets used 2 or 3 times a day. we can be raw food buddies ;)

what worked best for me, since I have to feed the rest of my family and they weren't doing raw, was raw 'til dinner. green juice in the morning, snack of almonds and some sort of veggie stick, heartier veggie juice for lunch, munch some more nuts if I got hungry, then a sensible dinner

We're okay. We were stopped at a light, the woman behind us didn't stop, rear-ended us and drove us into the car in front of us. Not fun. We're a little sore, but nothing major. Husband's car was old, so not worth fixing.

It's an alarmclock. It simulates the rise of the sun. For example, if you want to wake up at 7 o'clock, then the lamp starts shining at 6.30. The light will be brighter and brighter and at 7 o'clock it shines as bright as the sun and your alarmclock rings. Apparently this way it's easy to wake up.
