Not really familiar with the work of any visual artist but came across some stuff done by Pierre Beteille that I thought was cool. More at http://www.babydoll.ws/2009/03/22/great-photoshop-art-by-pierre-beteille/

This is a piece that I bought from Tony Bones back in 2004. Don't know what he is up to now, perhaps I should hit Google.

Scott Hansen/ISO50... I've always loved the level of detail that goes into his prints, which are always so rich and vibrant and FUN. Sometimes I wish he created more work, or kept his profile updated more, since I'm pretty sure this is how he makes a living.

My uncle, Will, paints some really awesome watercolors every Sunday afternoon. He also writes some amazing and absolutely absurd stories to go with the paintings. You can find examples on his blog at http://hollisbabble.com/. Not always for the faint at heart or the squeamish.

Benjamin Palmer, friend and CEO of the Barbarian Group, makes sweet collages in his down time. Here is a favorite, which he recently had painted on a 6 foot canvas. AWESOME! More from this series here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/secretbenjamin/sets/72157607816211466/

my friend, jason rackow, does these freakin sweet paintings. he uses all sorts of media within, though. sometimes, it may be part of a roof shingle or a tin can or a microchip.

Loro Verz, brazilian artist that represents downtown São Paulo with different humorous elements put together in big wooden panels.
Mostly black and white, the drawings always have a touch of color that make the details jump off the panel.to see some more

I don't ordinarily like cut & welded metal sculptures because they're usually so stiff and angular and unexpressive... but this one has the fluidity and expressiveness of a drawing or painting. Wow.
