Got this as the free book in a '3 for 2' offer. Had it for 6 years. Saw the film and now I can't be bothered to read it.

My aunt and uncle were fanatical about this diet for a while. But like all things, it fizzled and phased into something else. Sometime before that, I bought this, (used) and it's been collecting dust every since.

I thought it was terrible. I couldn't even get halfway through. Perhaps I ruined it for myself because I already knew that he embellished it.

what?! how can you not love this book, and I think he just made the story slightly bigger than it was -- embellished isn't entirely fair to call it I reckon; "based upon a true story" always works for movies and no-one cries a tear over that either, ..right?

Sorry this is so late. I got this book from my Children's Lit. professor, Dr. Steiner (aka The Bookman). After the course, he gave us each a children's book to help us start our own collection. I have yet to read it.

I only have a couple books I haven't read and this is by far the best. I got it from a friend who was giving away books he didn't want anymore. I only took it because it looks hilarious on my bookshelf.

I haven't the foggiest what either of these are about. They are two of several books that my father has passed along to me after he has finished reading them. (He doesn't quite get that I don't have the reading bandwidth that he does. Or similar tastes.)

Ahh.... Caress and Conquer - brought to you by the author of Savage in Silk! There is a lady that I work with that has an insatiable appetite for these novels and leaves them, by the boxful, in the break room where i work. I can't resist picking them up. Other classic titles include: 'The Prince and the Pregnant Princess', 'Wild Cherry', and 'The Gynecologist'. I only read excerpts aloud to co-workers who eventually either turn their backs to me in their cubicles or throw hot sauce packets at me.

forgot to do this at home this am... so here's 2 unread books i have here in my area of the work bookshelf. sadly, there's a dozen or so unread at home.
BREAK-THROUGH :::: I realized today that I never read books that were given to me as gifts or on loan.... I guess if I don't pick it out myself, I'm not interested :)
The unwrapped (and I'm sure, wonderful) Leibovitz book was given to me by @icyfrance
