I have two stereos that play vinyl and one of those is an 8-track player. Keep both because I still have both. (how did people use 8-tracks in cars? not easily)

Who else had one of these growing up?
I'm pretty sure I acquired this in the late 80's... and had little to no makeup to actually put it in. Maybe a few Lip Smackers chapsticks. :)

The "Apple Personal Computer for Beginners" published in 1989, and a floppy disk which I assume contains the same, dated 1989 also.

I love the sound of 5 1/4 drives when you put a disk in. Warm humming noises, full of promise. Then again I have had a computer in my bedroom since I was eight, so I have a strange fondness for the things.

I found my sticker collection from when I was a kid. I had all the good stuff--Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Gizmo, M&M's, Fraggle Rock, Hello Kitty, some ugly stickers I won at the skating rink, even pirate stickers before Johnny Depp made pirates cool! I loved growing up in the 80's!

I have one of these in my building, painted over about 100 times. does yours show any indications of who made it? Also, can you tell if the two circles on each side of the middle one (which looks like a button) do anything, or are they just for design?

I've got a lot of vinyl.Lots of cassettes too. (what do you do with old cassettes?) I don't listen to the records much but wish I had more time to. Nothing beats that vinyl sound. Skips, pops, scratches and all.
