Surprisingly delicious. A bit sweet for my taste, but it provided a sufficient amount of refreshment in the 30 degree humidity. As for the "fantastic natural feeling"... I was drinking far more beer, so if it was there, it was lost. It actually sort of does have a vaguely weed-like aftertaste. Overall: good, nice container, would drink again, but probably would not purchase again myself.

Actually tried 4 different kinds of the same brand of soda. Made my family try them with me. We rated them from 1 - 5, one being the worst five best. All of these were very fragrant btw.

Baltika 9 is a strong Russian lager (8% ABV) which happens to be sold in 51oz plastic bottles at my local grocery store. For $3.
Believe it or not, it's pretty good. Definitely better than St. Ides, which it rivals in quantity and alcohol content. Beats, even.
I'd say its closest relative in terms of taste is Heineken, which I'm not a fan of, but I might like more if it packed the same punch this stuff does.

I would add that this bottle was almost to big to be stored in the beer fridge, but @iandavid wedged it in there to avoid putting beer in the regular fridge.

I was planning on making these for tomorrow but decided it would be best to do a "test batch" today as well. :)

Kombucha Wonder Drink
Sparkling Fermented Tea
Asian Pear & GingerPretty bottle, twist off cap, smells like wonderful pears... Tastes like sparkling fermented tea. More specifically, it tastes like a wine spritzer, or pear flavored beer. The ginger taste is very subtle.
Disappointed.Maybe it would be better if I actually added some alcohol to it?

So today was the perfect day for this because last night I was grabbin' some beer at Market Street and saw this Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager and I thought YUM-O. So I took it with me to my friend's house and we drank it while watching Terminator 1&2 (which I had never seen so THANK GOD for you, Strawberry beer, for helping me through the most dreadful 4 hours of my life.) Everyone loved the strawberry beer. Even my man friends who are hardcore Shiner ONLY men. Meh. Anyway, you should totes pick some up if you are feelin strawberry-ee ever. On a scale of 1 - delicious, it is CRAZY DELICIOUS!! Oh, I was also inspired to sing "strawberry beer forever" all night.

Stella Artois a Belgium Lager. I would say it's an acquired taste. I wouldn't recommend this as your first beer. After having a good buzz it goes down a lot smoother. i give it a 3.5 out of 5

Not to knock the Stella fans, but there are a ton of beers that come out of Belgium that are way better. Next time look for Chimay, Maredsous, Glazen Toren, 't Smisje, a Chouffe, Duvel... etc. etc. Stella and Leffe are basically the Budweiser and Coors of Belgium.

Fat Tire micro brew from Colorado. Cousins from out West love it so I gave it a try this afternoon and really enjoyed it. Its difficult to find in my area which will make it harder to enjoy later on this summer. Highly recommend it though!

Now & Zen 2007 Wasabi White. Trader Joe's promotes as "Creamy, soft with ripe spicy apple, mango, lemon, delicate finish." I don't know that it's all that and the second taste became a wine spritzer, but it inspired an artichoke antipasto cheeseburger that was awesome. I'll give it 3 stars for taste and 2 for inspiration.

I mixed Mike's Hard Lemonade w/ some Sparks, and then someone poured a couple swigs of Powers Irish whiskey into it. Surprisingly not bad. And no hangover this morning.

not really a soda/juice/alcoholic beverage, but mixed with milk, it's amazing! just started drinking it on Thursday, now I have a cup every day!

A sake serving jug. The ice sits in the hollow and the sake goes in the main body.
The good: strong, not nasty. Tastes better with a splash of water. Comes in a cool carafe. I can say that I've tried sake.
The bad: to me it just tastes of alchohol – faintly like vodka – and not like any kind of wine at all. Maybe I got an inferior nasty kind.

A LONG time sake lover here ... and that is the first time I've ever seen a Carafe like that ... .BRILLIANT.... I so now I want one ... damn it ... I suppose it would work with Hot as well... Which some Sake are better warm... I find that the non filtered Sake is better severed cold... Imho...

I feel the same, cold unfiltered sake tastes like alcohol (and smells a little bit like rubbing alcohol to me).

i third the vote for warm sake. yum.
plus, you have to make sure you don't get a super cheap brand.

Super Chill Orange soda from Albertsons. Not the best, I mean, it gets the job done, but it doesn't have that refreshing taste or "pop" that Crush and Nehi used to have. I give it a 3/5.
