Souvenirs are for suckas! Just kidding, I don't have any because they are against my religion. ;)

I may know something about "yoppers." As in "Up in the U.P." I hope that makes sense. We have some friends that call that yonder home. Trying to figure out where we'd land on the "yopper shot."

I'm not really a souvenir person, but last summer my parents happened to be visiting the States and passed through the city where the Democratic National Congress was being held. I supposed there must be a bajillion tons of stuff for sale asked them to pick up some Obama merchandise. This t-shirt has 'OBAMA' on it in AC/DC style letters – kinda fun.
ETA: just noticed it's back to front ...Jul 15, 2009 07:13 by noiselesspenguin-

@a_noob: I've thought about it a lot, but hotels have not used keys in such a long time that finding it's origin may be hard.

That reminds me of when those crazy Brady kids went to Hawaii and stupid Bobby or whoever picked up that idol and it brought them nothing but an hour's worth of bad luck. But then again, not really cuz this was...um...a good luck thing and so that makes this your lucky charm.
So never mind about the Brady kids. Although didn't you just wish that tarantula would sting Marcia...?

I would post them online and see if anybody recognizes them. Post on "Travel" websites. Register, "LOSTKEYS.COM" and who knows, maybe you can build such a buzz that the place that the keys come from would comp you :) Then again, probably not. lol

I've been interested in photography for a long time, and drooled over the state of the art dSLR cameras. It wasn't until a cruise, that stopped in St. Thomas that I looked up at the 10D oon the shelf in a small shop and convinced myself to spend $1500 on a digital camera (when I already had a Digital Point-and-shoot on me). It's not a relic of a specific region, but the detailed memories it records are priceless and the camera itself is a reminder of that cruise.

That's so awesome that you worked on Saints Row 2. I finally got around to playing it last weekend and am loving it. So much to do. I've already put hours into it and have barely touched the storyline. Kudos.

@autoawesomeon: Hah! Glad you like it. In particular, I worked on the melee combat, Trail Blazing, Septic, FUZZ, Fight Club and Heli Assault. Fight Club (which, oddly enough is one of the simplest activities) was by far the most work and was the bane of my existence for quite some time, but people seem to really like it, so I'm proud of my work there, regardless.

@slonermike: Very cool. I haven't tried Fight Club yet, but I had fun trying out Septic Avenger. All the new activities are great additions to the game. Great work.

The fact that I managed to get this frame speaks a lot to how much I like it. I'm sure I was taken for a ride- this was purchased at a "papyrus institute" that was part of the tour I went on in Luxor. I really liked this though. It's real papyrus, and the birds are sitting on the tree of life and each represents a different phase of life.
