Scrabble is pretty much my goto URL when I have a spare minute. Integration with the iPhone has only encouraged my addiction. Not a bad addiction to have at the end of the day.

mmmmm mana. Seriously, I'm addicted to bread. ANYthing bread-y. Pastry, cookies, cake, all kinds of breads...you name it. Although I'm pretty good about staying off the bread but if I eat it, I want MORE.

  well, my comment was just a joke about how you'd more likely see the term mana/manna used these days, but then you had to go change your entry...
  I'm with you on the bread thing. Anything and everything. But my absolute favourite is bread with hard chewy crust that you tear instead of cut, and adorn with jam or paté or soft cheese... yum. I think I need to go to the grocery store now.

A few months back I discovered that Netflix has the old 90210s (sadly, only on disk, not 'Watch Instantly'). Re-watching these has become an addiction, I go through at least 1 disk a week (3-5 episodes)
This time around, my heart's in it for the 90's fashion- it's simply outrageous!
and quite inspiring :)

While I was on my way to DSW to shop for some shoes cuz I was bored, I was thinking about today's mission and I thought "nope, I have no addictions" when it dawned on me....that I was driving to a shoe store to shop for shoes that I didn't at all need...no special occasion...I'm just obsessed with shoes. (so typical of me, whatever) Anyway... So that's my addiction...shoes. I love them. There is this amazing DSW in North Dallas that I go out of my way to go to...I love to see the aisles and aisles of shoes and I'm sad once I've reached the end. So I tried on a few (also, I am wearing my ugly skirt from the mission a couple days ago). I ended up getting those black booties for work...and can you say "no" to those hot pink Givenchy jellies when they are half off? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Cuz hey, "if the shoe fits.."

  @nicolebliss: I love DSW because they carry these 2 brands I like alot, Cindy, or Cindy Says , and Modern Vintage. I can't find them anywhere else..oh and you can find designer shoes for cheap. They had a sale going on today...all Gucci shoes for $199. I wasn't really into that though. That DSW downtown SF is amazing...2 stories! I love it. We don't have Loehmans here.. I will have to check it out next time i'm in a place does. And I have definitely bought 4 pairs of shoes since Tuesday also! haha. we are the same!

I have many addictions: Xbox, chocolate covered pretzels, Junior Mints... but the most debilitating is definitely my lens habit. I can't stop buying lenses for my Canon DSLR. I'm even buying 30 year old Zeiss lenses and adapting them to fit my camera. Please, somebody stop me, I can't afford it!!!

espresso, it comes in many forms, and delightful colours and tastes, but at the end of the day, things don't get going on full power unless I've had some. Some other addictions that I didn't post:
• Top Gear
• Driving too fast
• OCD (although that's more a compulsion than an addiction)
• Cadbury's Wispa Bars
• Travelling all over the world on my own
• throwing myself off a snowy mountain with a glorified plank of wood strapped to my feet.

Caffiene! That's my addiction. Mainly in the form of tea but a lot of coffee and energy drinks also get consumed

Sweets, in general. However, my big addiction is condensed milk... Yes, I can go through a whole can in less than 15 minutes.
Disgusting, I know, but it makes me happy! =o)

  I know someone who drinks half and half (creamer) because when he was a kid, his mom used to make some kind of warmed sweet cream thingie to help him sleep, so it became more of a comfort thing.

I like my addictions like I like my... hmm, can't think of an analogy. But they last a month or two and are really intense and then it's on to something else. Right now it's War movies. Let me know if you can suggest any others!

  @athanie: it's actually not on here because it's one of the few movies I've seen on DVD recently. Really amazing film (even if it lasts about 12 hours). I asked my father for a movie about urban warfare, and he suggested Enemy at the Gates. Doesn't hold a candle to Downfall.
