I spent nothing. I quit my job a couple of weeks ago to move across the country and back in with my boyfriend so he paid for our £15 food shop.

I worked a gob of overtime in the last two weeks, so maybe I was a little more loosey goosey with the money tonight than I'd normally be.
It's game 1 of an ALDS between the Twins and Yankees. I have deferred paying for my ticket until next payday. Tonight I spent:
1 x $8.50 Summit in ALDS souvenir cup from my favorite vendor downstairs
4 x $7.50 Summit in non-souvenir cups upstairs where my seat actually was tonight
1 x $4.50 nachos
1 x $79 snazzy, overpriced sweatshirt due to poor weather planning on my part
1 x $7.50 chicken strips & fries (I only wanted the chicken, my friend ate most of the fries)
----------------------
$129.50 total money
$priceless = total fun at one more baseball game this season, even though we lostOct 06, 2010 23:11 by kellydna-

Stupid question....but I'm going to ask anyway....do they actually fizz?

Oh they do! They have the most delectable fizzy centres; they also shred your palate if some of the fizziness leaks through the fissures and leaves sharp hard candy ridges. Worth it though.

I am trying to spend less and have managed to not spend a penny this week. Nothing to do with the fact that I am compleatly skint.

I have not tried ANY of those beverages. My mother drinks the Mike's Hard (an upgrade from Smirnoff Ice - maybe?), but I don't even think I've taken a sip from her. I better hit up BevMo.

@zoe: The SN is a pretty new variety, I think, probably a fall seasonal. Being a Newcastle girl, you might like it—it's a brown ale. On the other hand, save your money on the Hook & Ladder. The best part was the bottle cap.

It's going to be a cheap day for me - spent £10 on a new weekly train ticket, £2.50 for a coffee and danish this morning, and £0.56 on some szechuan sauce for dinner.
Of course, if you include food purchased beforehand for today and bills paid for the period that covers today (totalling £24.77) and Taxes, National Insurance (roughly what we call social security) contributions from money I earned today at work (totalling £24.34), then the total amount of money I have 'spent' is £61.17, or $97.29 at today's exchange rate.
