What is your favorite "raggedy" piece of clothing that you still wear? (only 'decent' and 'safe for work' pictures)

I moved 2 years ago and pretty much got rid of all my raggedy clothes and old shoes. We need a TT showing us NEW things!

It's hard I like a jumper with horizontal stripes but this one is very nice indeed. So cheers.

This used to be a regular shirt for many years. It has since progressed (or been demoted to) a work-out shirt and has been serving me well for another couple of years. Don't worry, nobody has to suffer looking at it, I only wear this in my private gym. (i.e. an exercise bike in a bedroom) Hard to tell from this picture, but the holes are pretty big, and some of the thread has pretty much changed to see-through :)

I have had this shirt in active rotation since high school, and it shows every minute of it. I should probably throw it away, but there are just so many good memories. (Like my increasing photoshop skills? I learned how to draw a line today! Couldn't figure out how to make it thicker, but I'm getting there.)

I like the pit stains, I have a couple like that as well. Shows that you're not just sitting around all the time! (With the brush selected, right click to select a thicker brush/increase the brush width. Make lines with said brush by clicking once, holding shift, then clicking again farther away)

i like the idea of impressive shirt tucking. as if there could be a championship, and the press could get excited about the private lives of the greatest shirt tuckers in the land. oh, there'd have to be a drugs scandal too. hmmm.Feb 05, 2010 14:33 by rabbitdan. -

Both in your pose and the fact that those jeans could have been "designed" like that.

I would say it that way, too, if I were speaking. I guess I was using my quiz show brain when I read it. "Is that your shirt or your shorts?" "Those would be my shorts, Alex."
Maybe I will stop at the library on my way home and see if they have that Steven Pinker book.

I wrote this sentence when I was back in highschool. It's a quote by Epicuro and says «doesn't seem a mortal being at all, the man who lives among immortal good things.» It's very ragged and covered with holes but if possible I still wear it (“Outhen gar eoike thnetò zòo, zon anthropos en athanatois agathois”)

@merendis: aw-suuum! :D Can't remember exactly Epicurus' dialect (might have been eolian - I'll check later). Also the 'theta' is written in a typographic alternative way. Anyway should differ a whole lot from modern Greek.

@discomeg2: @... uh, also everyone. Thank you! I think it's pretty too. I just with it weren't falling apart (and super short) or I'd wear it in public. If it were just faltering seams I'd fix it, but the fabric itself is wearing thin, and the edges are all frayed... sad to see it go
