This is a result of a photoshop war with @iamryanharris. Me and my roommate discovered it while we were moving and put it on the refrigerator because we knew Ryan was coming over for our house warming party. It was never taken down.

Like @toyotaboy, we collect tacky magnets from all kinds of places. I get to travel quite a bit for work, and stopping by an airport souvenir shop for a magnet is now required. (I do not however buy multiple magnets from places I've already been - that would be a bit much, even for magnet-lovers like us).

My favorite might be Bigfoot's drivers license.

  MYSTERY SPOT! I went there, it was pretty neat. Those stickers are everywhere in Santa Cruz! Those and the Diner stickers. I also like this magnet a lot.

  @athanie LUCKY! I lived in Salinas (45minutes away from Santa Cruz and 45minutes away from Monteray) for two years. Never got a chance to go to the Mystery Spot, I always used to opt for the aquarium instead. (I had a 1yr pass that allowed me to go as much as I wanted)

My mom gave me a photocopy of an old article about the Dixieland jazz band my dad led while he was in high school. It has been on my fridge since. My uncle is also in the picture. Can you guess which one is my dad? I've never thought I looked much like either of my parents—a good blend, I guess!
p.s. This coffee is not very good.

  @rabbitdan: This coffee is a very horrible tasting variety that I got at the grocery store, where beans are much less expensive than the good stuff from Caribou Coffee or Dunn Bros. Coffee (local Starbucks-ish chains). Quite often you do get what you pay for. This one tastes like twigs.

  @rabbitdan: I think the cat WAS being perfectly innocent. Cats like being up high, and the bird feeder probably got sun at some point during the day, so the cat got in the habit of resting there.

  @kellydna: The cat was lazy and I'm not sure how she got up there in the first place (the feeder is about 5 feet off of the ground). As far as we know it was a one-time thing when the planets lined up in a row and thus enabled the cat to make the impressive vertical jump. Also, I agree on the body builder musculature, and it was indeed the concept that I like.

Last year I went to London and enjoyed the underground transportation as a way to get around. This was particularly good because it was pouring outside. A souvenir fridge magnet of the underground (corny as it may be, I saw this one all over the place) seemed a suitable way to remember that trip.

i'll have to skip this one, I am stuck in bed and can't get to the fridge. i could show you a picture of all the steroids and pain killers i get to take! :)

  @rabbitdan I don't know yet. Probably, because it (sciatica) flares up really bad after I over do it physically. I've been in bed for three days on doctors orders and even the vicodin is barely working. I'm not a happy camper, the marathon was my big goal for the last two years.
