Duck Salad. It's never on the menu, so when its on special I grab it! Working in the restaurant buiz does have its perks. However its pretty unheard of that I actually stopped to eat lunch at lunch time. But stranger things have happened!

This turned out to be a more interesting lunch day than the usual eat-at-my-desk routine. My friend Rob from California had a 3-1/2 hour layover on his way to his hometown in Wisconsin, so he hopped the light rail in to downtown from the airport. We had lunch at one of our favorite watering holes from when he lived here, Runyon's, which I think has great burgers. I did opt for coleslaw instead of fries, because as you will recall from missions past, I don't like fries.

I am not a fan of pineapple or BBQ sauce, but my husband tends to order a pizza for me and the kids and then one for him (he's the only one in the house that likes this sh*t). Of course the only leftovers are his, but after removing the offending fruit and adding loads of salt and red chili pepper it's edible.

I don't really eat regular meals because I'm more of a grazer. I'm a vegetarian (which I guess makes me even more like livestock), so I usually have a lot of stuff like this around during midday. (Sorry about the picture, I don't usually feel like messing around with my camera).

I agree, I think I'm an egg neutralist too. I'm not a fan of eating them by themselves, but I'm crazy about baking, so I appreciate the fact that they exist.

Again, the "no cameras at work" rule has foiled me, but here's my dinner which I ate at lunchtime in America. I had leftover bolognese and was craving omelettes, so I mixed the two together and it tasted......only ok! I also majorly failed at getting it out of the pan. Eaten at my desk in my room while watching the Gaga episode of Glee.

@merendis: I think they would have been nice individually, but together not so much! I work for a credit card insurance/ID theft company so we're not allowed phones or cameras in case we steal people's card numbers or identities or souls or something!

It was au jus for the roast beef sandwich. I thought the sandwich was fine with just the cheese and it didn't need the sauce, so I abandoned it.
