@jenaissance: Have fun! I haven't been there in years! haha, sounds like your daughter already has a thing or two in common with the residents there :)

For the last few years, some friends and I have presented at a US national conference speaking about presentation skills. We have a whole monkey theme threaded throughout the presentation. I was vacationing in SF and found these patches. I bought one for all of us. It's become our motto. That and ... "got my mind on my monkey and my monkey on my mind."

Donny (full name Donovan Casanova). My husband (boyfriend at that time) bought him for me in some town in Wisconsin when he was on tour with the PBA (as the IT guy, not a bowler). The tag says Casanova, I don't remember why we added Donovan. He has a whole biography - we always make up back stories for things, lol. Donny has been with us for 8 years and was even my focus object when I was in labor the first time.

@kellydna lol, it was kinda exciting though! I could watch the tournaments on ESPN and see him in the background with all the scoring and filming equipment. So my husband has been on ESPN :D

Awesome print/gift, and I think that the wall paper is crazy-dope-fresh, and I know that you can make magic happen with it.

totally agree with @kellydna. I think this wallpaper was just waiting around for the day when this print would come along. It's all sort of romantic when you think about it...

'm sorry you guys but Imma ask a "stupid" question: What constitutes as a souvenir? Is it something you bring back or something someone has brought you?

Both are considered souvenirs in my opinion.

Perfect timing on this mission as it is right in the middle of my vacation to London! I arrived on my birthday, and when @rabbitdan and @a_noob picked me up at Liverpool Street Station, this birthday card was immediately thrust into my hands. I thought that was very sweet—thanks, guys :)

This came from Fort Worth, Texas. It ranks up there with the "cool stuff on my wall" collection. The only thing missing is the obligatory bullet-hole, but I could take it into Alabama for that I guess...
That's genuine Texas dirt on there too, the license plate came straight off an old truck and into my hands!

Hey! I have four of those. The plates have changed now. They suck super thin, and printed. MEH! They don't feel like they'd stop a bullet or an arrow from all the injins running around here scalpin' the settlers.

@thedigitalghost: you could repair a hole in a submarine with this one. I guess they don't make 'em like the used to. I blame greedy corporate fat cats with their insatiable thirst for profit at our expense, trapping us in a rat race lifestyle, living paycheck to paycheck for their gains.
Four license plates? Are you a professional driver?

@a_noob: Yeah. I just replaced the old ones a few months ago. When the clerk handed me the new plates I just kind of looked at them and she said, "Yeah, I know. We feel the same way."

@thedigitalghost: that sucks, I hope they see the light soon, and return the license plates to their former state, reflecting traditional American values of fortitude, integrity and style.
Also, since we're talking, want to come to the Minnesota State Fair on August 27th? It's my birthday!

I found these while diving of the coast of Hawaii. Little did I know that one of these http://tinyurl.com/2fdjd3b , was buried just beneath the sand and swam through my hand as I dug the keys out. I instantly freaked because I instantly knew exactly what it was and the trouble that I could very well be in.

@philos-phobos: Perhaps "Safety Deposit Box 1703" in the Havana National Bank, which contains a revolver (loaded), two fake passports, five thousand dollars in cash, an a cuban cigar.
