You should head down there sometime for a weekend - it's only a 3 hour drive from Seattle! There are a lot of fun places to explore besides Voodoo Donuts, too...

I spent most of this week in Portland visiting my little sister. We lived voodoo donuts, and the kids loved oaks park!

6:15 to Philly. Almost all the flights from Ithaca got to Philly, NY, or Detroit. I spent the first 11 years of my life in a Philly suburb, attending Catholic school in a Republican town. Then my parents moved us to liberal Ithaca - a much better fit for us all.

Sea-Tac to Las Vegas, Alaska Air flight 606 departing at 1125am. I've been to Vegas 8 times in the last 9 years. I nearly moved there when a company I worked for was closing the local office. The option was find another job or move to Vegas (I stayed because I had just starting dating my husband and wanted to see where that was going). Oh and my grandma lives in Pahrump, right outside of Vegas.

@discomeg2 We love Vegas, and we aren't even big gamblers. It's just fun to stay in the fancy hotels, and its amazing how easy it is to stay up all night! A few years ago we happened to be in town for the grand opening of the Wynn resort. I saw brad Pitt :)

I had several flights to choose from. I picked Winnipeg because I've been there. And guess what? I have a beer story! Many years ago, my mom and I rode the train up to Churchill to visit the polar bears and Winnipeg was the departure point. We had one night in Winnipeg on the way back and it was then that I discovered what, at the time, became my favorite beer ever—Fort Garry Dark Ale. I bought two six-packs, got them through customs, and rationed them dearly over the next few weeks. My palette has since changed and I'd now probably find it a little too sweet and malty for my preference, but at the time I thought it was the nectar of the gods.

Logan International - Air Canada 359 Toronto 10:55A Scheduled – I dated a guy from Toronto. He was really hot. His visa expired and he had to go back for six months and he even called me when he returned to the states after the six months. He was really nice and a good dancer and dresser, but had no sense of humor. I dumped him. It was sad.
