All of my old stuff is still at my parents house so I pulled this pic from someone else's FB page. I'm not sure if this was actually IN the yearbook, but I know it's at a dance in high school (senior ball, I think). I'm on the left. My boobs are now quite a bit smaller and I have less hair (and no perm) these days.

my yearbooks are all buried deep in my closet, which I recently cleaned, so no way I'm digging them out. I looked very much the same as I do now, but thinner, no glasses and crooked teeth (I got braces at 21)

This is my high school yearbook photo. There is a funny story behind this. I dropped out of high school when I was 17. The teacher who was in charge of the yearbooks really liked me though and I asked if she would put me in anyways. I had photo but it was a 8x10 photo and she said she needed a portrait size. My friend who I was with happened to have a picture of me when I was 15 in her wallet. I am incredibly stoned in this picture. The quote is from a high school fable about a kid who took too much acid and announced the quote at dinner with his parents. The teachers I thank all got fired or quit from this horrible high school. They were all incredible. Kristin Jones is my best friend and we dropped out together.Originally it said "for helping me get so far" they edited it. When i graduated college with honors I wanted to send them a picture of me flipping them off.

Just looking at your t-shirt. Was Twitter your idea?

@kellydna: ha! I think it said "c'mon get happy" under it. But, honestly, yes, yes it was.

We had no yearbooks here. Thankfully. (no mr. potato head either, btw) I was probably one of the most camera-shy teenagers around anyway. I don't think I even have a picture of me as a teenager. If any exist, they are probably tucked away in some brown envelop, for future blackmail purposes.

I had an 80s blazer that was made from a fabric similar to your dress.
