I ate someone elses pizza at a place my mum has talked about in Long Island. Salmon, Gruyère and dill and red onions. I don't like cooked fish> it was awesome. I kind of talked him into it because I was curious. It's ok if this doesn't count. I did eat the whole piece.

I went to Himalayan Restaurant in my neighborhood to sample some Nepalese cuisine. Starter: Kathmandu momo (steamed yak dumplings); entree: Khasi ko Masu (goat curry). I've had goat before at an Indian buffet I go to sometimes for lunch, but not in a curry. I know I've never eaten yak before.

@jenaissance: It's meat with a grain for sure, but the couple of times I've had it it was quite tender, like a well-executed roast. The yak on the other hand seemed a little rubbery.

Fish and chips take-out joint on the water's edge, ate ridiculously over-priced calamari tubes. Tasted like washing up gloves, in flavour and texture. Vile. Marvelous view of harbour though.

Neptunes Net in Malibu is the same way, for being a high quality eatery the food is terrible. The view is spectacular though and offsets the stomach abuse
