Ok so, I get bored and I get bored often. Me being a total comic geek, I always have a stack of comics in my bag. Other items include, a green folder to transport said comics, water, snacks and some pens in case I feel like drawing. (Wow, swap the pens for crayons and my bag would have the same contents that you'd find in a first graders bag.

Ragged wallet that I have had for about 8 years (and will probably try to use for 8 more), lighter, Lavender hand salve, lil tripod, iTouch, Dr Bronner's Ginger lip balm, cellphone, Tiger Balm, Tummy Soothers (really tasty), assorted and mostly just-in-case keys, three different types of black pen (my favorite to draw with). And not pictured is my camera obviously, and also my sketchbook which is usually too big to fit in my bag

I very rarely carry a bag. My wallet has everything I need and screams "mom!" Two pics of my daughter, one of son, one of niece, receipts that need to be tossed, my husband's business card, some gift cards, cash, license, etc. My two favorite things though are my "Certified Bad Ass" card (which I've had for 15 years) and the xray photos of my back (which I carry to let the TSA know that I've got metal in me).

Wallet, GPS (by the name of Mappin' Mary), granola bars, running iPod with an easy street records sticker, pens, excedrin bottle filled with vitamins, headband, badge to get into the office, pouch full of lip gloss, iTrip for playing my iPod over my car stereo, car keys, pepper spray, pens, and sunglasses. Missing: iPod touch and waterbottle that I realized were sitting on the other side of my desk, and the piece of crap cell phone that I used to take this picture.

I don't usually carry a bag/purse. Often I have my big backpack which would contain my lunchbox and my wallet, but today it's just my wallet which doesn't need an enclosing bag because, you know, it fits in my back pocket. So my wallet's contents are as follows, clockwise from upper left: the wallet with my transit stored value card; gum; cherry Carmex (which I was leery about getting but the store was out of plain and it turns out the cherry adds a nice little accent to things such as coffee); cards (car insurance, dental insurance, health insurance, HSA VISA card, business card, $20 Marshall's gift card, frequent buyer card for Robbin's brand of rabbit pellets); wallet insert (driver's license, cash, VISA check card, Dunn Bros Coffee customer loyalty card). When I really want to travel light, I only take the insert. iPhone goes in the other back pocket.
