I have created dinner! Cajun jambalaya pasta. I didn't have andouille sausage or shrimp, so I substituted kielbasa and salmon. It's delicious, even the kids ate 3 bowls each :)

I'm a graphic designer by day, so I won't count any work work projects. The most recent creation that I finished at home was this logo for a casino night fundraising event for Feline Rescue, the organization that brought me my crazy Dasie. I also did invitations, tickets, and a poster. I have a new assignment to work on for them this weekend but I haven't started it yet.

@kellydna - Yep. A Greek Festival fave and something I've never made from scratch before. And using yeast even, small accomplishment because I'm kind of yeast -wary except when it's for a bread mix, hard to mess those up.

@philos-phobos - Used a pared down version of this recipe: http://www.greekrecipes.gr/grs/grsp.php?recipeid=124
1/2 cup warm water, 1/2 packet of yeast, 1 tsp sugar (let the yeast bloom, then added) 2 cups flour, big dash of salt, little dash of cinnamon, and enough warm-ish water to make a loose (but not runny) pancake-like batter. Let it rise in a warm place, twice. Then fried. I drizzled honey over them while they were warm, did not make the syrup from the link/recipe.
