I don't miss those days, haven't had a cat for about 3 years. Not that cleaning the yard of poop from 2 dogs is any nicer, I don't have to do it as often since it's outside

One of the reasons I have parakeets and not a bigger bird (even though I reeeealllly want a bigger bird, or 5), smaller birds, smaller poops.

even a dishwasher can be a chore.. it's why I always try to not let the sink get fuller than 1 load. Sometimes I don't even put them in the sink, just goes directly into the dishwasher
