If you could have technology implanted to improve your body, would you? If so, what? (improve, cyborg-like, not fixing like a pacemaker)

i would get a small speaker in my ear so at work i could listen to music all day. it would be bluetooth controlled and then a small mic in my front tooth could hook into a phone or intra store bagging i mean communication device.

"Oh my goodness, this customer is an idiot, what's that? I'm on speaker, the store speaker? Oh crap, hold on, let me change the song at least".. something like that?

I was thinking about teleportation, too, to make those Minnesota to Europe jaunts easier. Though I don't mind driving on road trips.

In no particular order, I would like an off switch (to sleep) and improved memory, but with the option of flushing garbage from memory.

I like Siri's answer to my marriage proposal.
"My user licence agreement does not cover marriage"
Having it implanted could make swimming, sports and.. ahem.. interesting though.Nov 14, 2011 13:52 by forestchic. -

@forestchic: I saw this on reddit, and I'm curious if it works ask Siri "Wolfram flights overhead"... If the info I have is correct, it'll tell you planes that are currently above you... Pretty sweet!

I think I'd like the ability to remember everything I see, hear, and read, so a digital memory w/playback would be useful.

oh yes, great option. I could use that. Although I would never have time to play it back.

I have a very good memory when it comes to certain things to the point people think it is weird that I remember so much. It's kind of debilitating because people think you are crazy you remember so and so's birthday or middle name, so and so someone you met once etc. Then I have a hard time remembering faces, but once I know who they are I can recite most of a conversation we had months ago. It's a blessing and a curse.

At the moment, an off switch for pain receptors, but in a cyborg like usefulness, probably some of those nifty gadgets Kryton from red dwarf has on his groin attachments, like a mixer.. lol

The hoover attachment could prove comedy gold with the good old american pie line 'suck me beautiful' *pull out vacuum, clean their shirt and laugh*..
How could you be afriad though, of good old blender bits..?Nov 14, 2011 14:22 by forestchic.

I'd install a wi-fi chip. If you can connect to the internet, that changes everything! After that a graphics type "card" so I can have augmented reality.
