1/2 cup plain yogurt. 1 cup orange juice. 1/2 cup milk. 1 tbsp. flax seeds. 1/4 cup oatmeal (uncooked). 1 heaping tbsp. chunky natural peanut butter with the oil drained off the top. 1 scoop protein powder. 3/4 cup blueberries. 1/2 banana. 1/4 cup blackberries, or raspberries. 2 tbsp bran. Put all of it in a blender and add some ice. Purée it adding the liquids until you get the consistency you like. I guessed on the measurements. I just add and taste.

It's not new, but it was new to me, steeped bay leaves have anti-inflammatory properties (among other things) and drinking some (with a little honey) has helped me during my bout of bronchitis. Just a good thing I had a ton of it (bay leaves, never use them in cooking though I should).
New beverage I guess would be the chamomile/bay leaf tea mixture I had. Chamomile is also an anti-inflammatory, among other things. All good.
(not my photo btw, borrowed from the interweb)

Does it taste like honey or like bay leaves? I could have used some of that these past days, but of course I never have any bay leaves.

@chaomancer: It tastes like sweetened bay leaves. Not as weird as I thought it would be. At least, not after the first time.

@stephie: I only really know bay leaves from (hearty or spicy) soups, so I have a hard time imagining this flavor. But I will try some next time :)

my grandmother puts red wine in coffee. it horrifies me. even though it's my two favorite liquids, it's just wrong. your concoction, however, I'd be willing to try.
