I LOVED the Smurfs. My dad would watch them with me every Saturday. Poor Dad, he worked hard all week in construction, then I would make him get up early on a Saturday. I need to do something nice for him :)

A staple every Saturday morning. The same two second clip of the kids in the audience was used over and over again. Featured skits by the menagerie (Non-PETA approved), stories of "Sabu of the Jungle", and starred Andy Devine and "Froggy" the Gremlin. He was one of my my first toys as an infant and he's still around... somewhere.
And yes, the entire world was in black and white until I was eleven or twelve.
