found this suprising little guy on the side of the road a while back, it wasnt until later on at home that i found out it turned into a walkman too!

A bunch of poken(s). Bad investment, these seemed fun at the time, social networking hardware, for people to exchange their contact info. I bought a couple, but never really used them. So now they're like a collector's item.

@stephie: yeah, it never seemed to catch on enough to get rid of mine. If I were any craftier I might have been able to put in some really memory and use them as usb drives.

@discomeg2: they're gadgets with a tiny bit of memory and a usb connection. You store info on your social network accounts on it, and when you meet someone else who has one, the pokens can exchange the information wirelesslly by holding them together.

So your taking audio from itunes and modifying it in realtime? I never quite understood how circuit bending works, I can only assume your using a variable resistor to modify a time chip to slow it down?
