View from apt sucks unless you like chain link fences. This is my favorite view from the office in a music school work at part time. That's the cat walk of the famous Harvard coop bookstore. Idk. I'd go outside to take a pic but people always ask about TT when they are like wtf are you doing and I've found it very hard to explain. This is my last day of the semester here. :(

Ouch... no offense, but I would have thought that the view from a Harvard window would be more inspiring... less like someone with an oversupply of red brick and a straightedge had built it. Only a touch of greenery, too....!

@sethness: if you see some of my earlier TT submissions, I lived in thick of it for a while. It's got some plants.

Lovely yard. Do you have a bird feeder? Easy enough to make...Plastic tube + drilled holes, filled with grass seed + peanut butter...

It is a view of the organ mountains in New Mexico. My camera phone really doesn't do it justice. Wikipedia has a better pic.

The Organ Mountains...? You live in or near El Paso TX then? I spent 3 memorable months there in the mid-1980s. I was struck by how SOFT the rock is-- you can punch it and it crumbles like a sandcastle. Have you been to the Hueco park nearby? From the air, I remember being struck with the understanding that the US side of El Paso / Juarez was almost entirely lit by incandescent electric bulbs (yellow) while the Mexican side was lit blue with gas lamps...and lightning under the clouds looked like kids under a blanket with a flashlight.

Lovely! If the mosquito population is small enough, I think if I were "in your shoes" I'd be out there with a sketch pad, a picnic lunch, or a laptop every free hour. I wish the low wall were built more like a daybed or bench with back support, though. What are those low blue flowers?
