Hey past self,
You know that internet thing that's starting to take off? yea, your going to be spending a lot more of your time on it, and it's going to get really fast, and every business will be connected on it. Also video games get really good looking, pinball takes a nosedive, and cars still only get 30mpg. Also you will lose a bunch of weight because you'll get sick of being fat, and you still ride your bicycle because you love to do it.

to my past self: you actually can conquer the weight problem...have the courage to start the fight sooner. nextly, your marriage is so worth fighting for. even when it feels dreadful an hopeless, that's just a season and it'll pass and you'll be loved the way you ought to be. stop needing the right things from the wrong people, and the wrong things from anyone. don't go anywhere near the line, it's not a game. be who you know you are, stop trying to become someone else...even the skinny beautiful girls feel fat and unnoticed and unworthy sometimes. the solution is never in the external details.

To future self: I'm sorry I smoked and spent too much time on the computer. Hope you kept with your regime of excersize and not smoking. I hope your children are awesome and not completely insane and were able to have them healthily. I hope you are still doing creative ventures. I hope you are ok and able to think for yourself. I hope all your animals are still alive. I hope I left you with no debt. I hope you still live in the moment and I can't imagine looking back on some of these days like they were awesome but now I see myself looking back at them like 10 years ago where I remember being misrable and thinking that was awesome. Above all, remember our favorite quote: cheer up! the worst is yet to come. Here's the one I did for past self I did for a former mission. There's a "drunk version" of this: http://youtu.be/Xz-cBghxrxY you can find it if you look hard enough.

Dear past self,
Everyone tells you to look after your money, budget well and don't take any risks. Make sure you plan for old age. Pay into your pension early and it'll be worth more, and keep some shares for a rainy day.Nah ... don't bother with that boring advice. Over the festive period in 2005 no-one will win the Euromillions Lottery, and it will roll over 10 times to a Jackpot of over £100,000,000. On 27th January 2006, the winning numbers are 9, 15, 21, 40, 49 with stars 1 and 4.
Go buy a ticket and secure a better future for both of us!!
Love,
Future self.Jul 05, 2011 17:02 by demander -

Since my future-me will know everything, I will tell my past-me: "Do not take that job after school. It will keep you from studying enough and it will mess up your days for a long time..."

Dear Past Self,
You're going to be fine. You can do this. Trust me, you don't need to rely on other people all the time. Open up yourself to other people, not everyone is going to reject your friendship. Don't room with Arrie, it'll just cause you a lot of trouble. Make sure you try your hardest in college and you'll do just fine. Don't stress over everything, it all works out in the end.
Love,
Your future self.Jul 05, 2011 13:12 by sarastarrr -

Dear Past Self,
Most of your teenage angst was due to fluctuating hormones. Suck it up and move on with your life. You are an AWESOME woman, don't be afraid to show it. If you really want kids, try starting in your 20's, even if you won't meet Prince Charming until your mid-30's. You'll be amazed at the things you accomplish when you finally listen to your teachers and "apply yourself."
Love Future You

I would tell my future demented, Alzheimers-suffering self there once was a time when everything was good. I had everything I ever wanted, I didn't need any pills (except for fun ones) and had great motor skills... Hey, I'm allowed to lie to my future self, to make me feel better, right?

stop fannying about and ask your future wife to go out on a date. Spent a couple of years being 'just good friends' when we could've been getting it on :-)

Hey future self, I know you're memory's probably shot but hey, you had some good times in your 20s! Don't forget to enjoy the things you love and be yourself, just listen to the sunscreen song if you need anything more ;)
