I see stars gleaming, after storm.
Flooded rivers receding, we are warm.Am visiting SO's parents in Vermont US, who got hit hard by hurricane. VT is mostly independent businesses and rural farming communities that lost all their harvests. It's a beautiful day, some say that's rare, but I think they just
don't pay attention. There's so much filling their busy days, they never take a moment to appreciate those bright sunny rays.It's only when it's raining, and they can blame their bad moods, do they take notice of the drastic change around them. It's a shame they're not more aware, that most days are good, so they could appreciate their good fortune.
Until then they'll complain, because that gives them an excuse, until the sun can shine brightly again.
