Didn't manage to up this yesterday (due to Bad Gateway 502 error - TweakToday if you want me to look at your reverse proxy settings give me a shout).
The "Apple Personal Computer for Beginners" published in 1989, and a floppy disk which I assume contains the same, dated 1989 also.

I love the sound of 5 1/4 drives when you put a disk in. Warm humming noises, full of promise. Then again I have had a computer in my bedroom since I was eight, so I have a strange fondness for the things.
