@jackcomrie: it seems there are quite a few books we may have read as children, that are now considered 'wrong' and full or stereotypes or racism.

That was my thought as well. I can hardly remember any titles. A few series, but that is it. Sad, considering that I used to take out the maximum number of library books allowed (3-4 at a time) and then went back asap to return the ones I read and get new ones. I think I was there at least once or twice a week.

It's funny, because I hear about this title in so many movies, but I don't think I ever read it. Or had it read to me.

A series of Dutch books about a smart little boy ("Slimmetje" or "Smartie" I guess), with a magical hat. I think the hat was like a portal to a fantastic world, or weird creatures would come from it. (It's been a while.) It took quite some digging in my memory and online to figure out what this series was called, I don't have access to my books right now.

I remember a time when we didn't have scanners and when color copies (xerox's) were like $2 each.I should have taken pics of pics at the time, but never thought to do so.

I don't use duct tape very often, but I wonder if there is anything truly "unconventional" left to do with duct tape. This picture is from 'there, I fixed it' a great site to get a duct tape fix :) (to be honest, I don't think I have enough duct tape in the house right now to do anything more than sealing an envelope)
