Witness, the birth of a toy. (July 4th mission: http://tweaktoday.com/missions_accomplished/2009/7/4)
To be honest, this was just the perfect excuse to buy some of those chocolate eggs. What I discovered, was that kids are spoiled. Back when I was young, we would find crappy toys we actually had to assemble. Now they come pre-assembled. The current batch contains Asterix (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterix) characters, because of the comic strip's 50th anniversary. I was highly disappointed in the eggs, as two out of three turned out to be broken (making things even easier for kids, hehe).Nov 18, 2009 09:44 by chaomancer

I remember the transformer McDonalds toys as being quite cool. But nostalgia can mess with your memories, too.

@stephie: I will save it for a future mission. Not sure which one yet, but I'm sure I can sneak it in somewhere.

@athanie: yeah, that's why nowadays I try to avoid watching old tv shows again. Knight Rider, A-Team, great stuff, but now? Not so great.

Hehe, I bought one of those chocolate eggs when I visited the Netherlands! I had to assemble mine, it was a ghost that popped out of a chest with a big hammer... lol it makes me giggle.
