Are you a collector? What do collect? (and are they just collecting dust?)

Back in the days, I used to collect Magic cards. I actually tried to complete the entire set(s) that came out. But I quickly learned that, even back then, it would be way too expensive and damn near impossible to keep collecting. So I gave up. Since I haven't bought any cards in years, I guess this is no longer a true collecting hobby, but I still hold on to the old cards, and occasionally use them in games with friends. Other than that (and money), I don't really see myself as a collector.

What *is* a magic card? Is it like a magic lesson book, or tarot cards, or for use with some kind of dungeons & dragons game?

@sethness: It's a card game, a little like yu-gi-oh I guess.
I used to play as a kid, it's pretty good :)
