Thinking of organized crime, I would have loved to have a picture of two cement blocks with the imprint of feet, but alas. I did not find any imprints in any cement, and certainly not anything cool.

I can't figure out what this is—my first impression is of a slug crawling up a wall, but that doesn't match anything—so I'll say "Love Bites" because that's MY favorite :) But I'm sure that's not the answer.

I was almost done for the day and ready to go home, when I got another email. "Urgent" of course, and of course it asked for a year's worth of info that nobody told us we'd need to keep track of. To be delivered "yesterday". So I did what every self-respecting employee would do. I went home. I'm sure it'll still be urgent tomorrow.

The details are certainly incredible. I find myself skipping a lot of the books though. Some are hard to read on screen, and some just take me away from the action (can't stop to read when exploring a dangerous area ;)). I picked up one of this books at an airport last year. Was great in-flight reading material. I wondered about this trilogy. Maybe I'll check it out some day.

Yes, series of (good, enjoyable) books are awesome. Especially if you don't find out about the series until later on, so there's always a supply of books to look forward to. Just watch out for withdrawal symptoms when you get to the end of the series.

I probably know most of the comics already, but it is always cool to have a collection. Plus, the author compiled, printed, sells, and pretty much ships the books himself. I appreciate that attitude and attention. (Since it was delivered at Stephie's place, I have to wait another week before I can read it.)

Yeah, it's tiring being green :) I wish there was more picking up here. Anything but the paper and compostable stuff I have to bring somewhere myself. But it makes me feel slightly less bad about any trash I produce (in addition to the recycling).

Since I bring my own bag to the store, I don't get too many plastic bags. But when I do, I use those to store all other plastic-to-be-recycled. A convenient tote-bag to recycle as well.

I recycle whatever I can. Plastic, paper, compostable materials, glass, and bottles with deposits. Since I do not own a car, I take my bike to work or walk there. Long distance travel is by train and/or bus. Or plane, but I don't think that qualifies as 'green' ;)

You're definitely very green in some ways. Before we could do it here I used to be so jealous of how you could recycle every scrap of paper. Now we can, I see how tiring it can be :) but hopefully it's being recycled as they say so it's worth the effort.

@stephie: I don't think I have (m)any pc floppies lying around. New computer doesn't have a floppy drive, but I am keeping the old one, just in case.

Ah yes, the sound of the work phone. *Shudder*. The worst was at my old location, when the phone had a similar ring as my phone at home. I would start dreading the sound of the phone at home. And I would almost answer the home phone with my work voice and salutation.

I wonder if I could have done this mission. The few times I make it into a toy store, I never see any army men. Finding the 'violent' stuff I liked as a kid may not have been banned, but it does seem harder to find. Or maybe modern kids are total pacifists ... yeah right.
