Oops, battery is completely dead. The only part of my place that I would considering slightly interesting is a big brick 'chimney' type of construction in the living room. When I moved in here, I thought it stood out way too much and I wondered how I would ever get used to it. But now it is an interesting feature that is a nice break from the other walls.

I wish I could work at home and not need an alarm. Although I'm not sure I'd ever get up. A freaked out cat seems like a good alarm too :)

This is my backup alarm. If this one goes off, it means I am at risk of being late for work. The regular alarm is a phone app that increases in volume as time goes on. Supposed to make waking up easy. It never is. Anything is better than this backup one though.

Although I also have to do quite a bit of 'work' around the house today, I decided to treat myself with some downtime as well. Breakfast was cappuccino with brie (nom) on toast. Some Magic online game time, and I plan to spend the evening with Captain America.

Sometimes when I look at them it's like a game of Where's Waldo and it seems like they are extremely camera shy. And then one of them will stand at the front and look straight at the camera. I tell you, they're messing with our minds :)

I like wasting some time reading RSS feeds on Sunday mornings, while enjoying a slightly fancier/better breakfast than usual (=pleasure). One the most interesting feeds is that of PostSecret.com, "... an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard." (=secret)

My web cam is currently tucked away in a big drawer of old cables and computer parts. Usually it is aimed at the entrance door, so I can record any possible intruders while I'm away. The cam on my new tablet is usually aimed at whatever is in front of me.

@toyotaboy: I got my Amiga for the games, but it was the first machine where I moved "way" beyond that and actually tried all kinds of other things as well. Still have awesome memories of some of the games though.

What, you don't want an education? Kind of an odd world, where the main reason to join the army, is to get an education. Something seems skewed here.
