Turns out this beat Prince's Purple Rain by about a year or two. To this day, I cannot turn off a radio, tv, or site while it is playing Goodnight Saigon. The lyrics are awesome, the original video (especially at the time) made it even more chilling.

Love this song! My dad bought a cd player when they first came out and I'd listen to this on repeat
