I'd SO MUCH rather smell BO than body scent maskers, like cologne and perfume. and scented deodorant. A bunch of BO would be a field of roses to me compared to cologne, lol.

Same, I was going to post that. Cologne too. It makes it extremely difficult to breath.

I went into the comic book near me recently. I asked for a cute comic, but nothing like a super-hero sort of thing, just something cute enough to cheer me up. I haven't really been to many comic stores, though I like comics. I hate spending money on them. He got me a bone comic and I said I'd give it a try. It was Bone #30. It got me interested and a week or two at most later, I got that one in the picture above at Barnes & Nobel. :) I don't want to buy so many 10$ books, so I may spring for the all-in-one version sold on the website. But yeah, it's good. :)

This is the last book I bought, but as far as a story book or a more serious book, NO IDEA!

Why is NASA lying about the basics of science to explain away the presence of so-called "Nibiru". One NASA guy actually said the magnetism of planets and other heavenly bodes do NOT affect each other!? WTF. They're lying about other basic stuff too. Makes the whole conspiracy have a bit of legitimacy. How about the using the truth to explain it to us? Gee (We found Neptune and Pluto because of Magnetism without seeing them).

As someone who has to deal with pseudoscience and pseudohistory regularly, I have to comment. The "lies" you speak of are probably scientific statements misunderstood or taken out of context. It is easy read into some jargon-y statements that scientists put out there because they use words that seem ordinary but actually mean specific things in the idiom of the discipline. I once heard a prominent archaeologist tell a story about a reporter taking a statement he made out of context to make it sound like he believed that Atlantis was in Bolivia. As a scientist, when you do know so much about such a complex discipline, it can be hard to remember what the average person knows and doesn't know about your topic because it has all become second nature. That makes it really hard to communicate with the media who then sensationalize your information into stories that are patently untrue. Don't worry. The Mayans never, ever said something catastrophic was going to happen in 2012. It is just the year that their long count calendar turns over. It's like New Years, but on a 25,000 year long scale.

Oh ok! Yeah, I've lived in 2 states, we've had mostly the same classes, but the quality in the other (southbend indiana) was so much higher than in Detroit. I had teachers who spent the whole hour teaching instead of 15 minutes then letting us do other stuff.

Yeah, I know some have good programs, but where I live, what you get at most is 1 semester with one for sewing and one for cooking and you don't do much of each. Basically enough time to cook one dish, and make a pair of shorts. They don't even cover finances. It'd be useful if a majority of people knew how to do that; ie congress, lol.

They told us it's possible to get pregnant from a bath tub if a man just ejaculated in the same water a woman is in, or will be in, but it is very unlikely. Hot tob, can't see that being likelier. The problem is one of not understanding why it's better to wait.
