Oscar Peterson playing "Con Alma" - Just brilliant. Wasn't my kind of music till I heard this. This live version is a bit lo-fi but you can find a recording on itunes that is amazing to listen to with headphones.

Oh wow. Yes. I have 'Night Train' by Oscar Peterson Trio and don't like it that much. I may have to revisit it.

the amazing thing is how much is improvised. Th spotify version is a studio recording I think and the youtube one is live - so different and both immaculate. the music is extraordinary also, quite "classical" structure.
