I'm going to pretend that this island is like LOST and I find a magical bunker full of all the survival supplies I'm going to need. That way I can bring my iPod (the magic of the island will keep it charged), my dog, a book, my laptop (also charged by the smoke monster), and another person to listen to my constant chatter (my dog's a good listener, but she doesn't typically laugh at my lame jokes).

@rragsbag: The only problem with getting on the LOST track was that everything I thought about brining after that got very strange and violent very quickly :)

@hardrockhippie: well, good news is, you can find just about anything you need somewhere on the island if you know where to look or find someone to teach you what you want to learn
