It may not be a "map" per se, but it IS real directions to what was once (and may still be) a real treasure. It's from a global treasure-hunting sport called Geocaching. The coordinates are real and there is (unless someone took it) a canister with toys/trinkets/money and a log book for all finders to sign. I placed it there, but have not yet picked it up. The site was removed from the "official" game because it's supposedly illegal to boat in the waters surrounding the island. You often find kayakers practicing in those waters so I don't know how valid that claim was.

Hey, I wondered if anybody else would post geocaching related stuff for this mission. I don't suppose you have the url for this cache do you?

It has been archived on geocaching.com due to it's possible illegal nature, and I don't know if the cache is still there or not. It's been 2 years since we went there. We never took back the canister, but it's all possible someone (or something) else has.
