A 1960 T-Bird I picked up in 1969 for $75. It was battleship grey and needed a pair of pliers to open the hood. Got about 8 miles per gallon. Liked to slip in reverse when parked with the engine running.

Car back then were so stylish... makes me wonder what happened afterward? Until recently, new cars were so lame!

@leopicado: You could always tell the model and year until about 1967 or so. After that, they're all a blur.
@stephie: I think it weighed close to 2 tons but it DID go 100 mph
