Clockwise: "Pete" the duck, a dog I found wandering about an A&P grocery store. Dubbed "Stupid Cat" by my father, gave birth to a litter in the junk pile we put out for trash day. My long-time pal "Sneakers" and my beagle that followed my neighbor every day on his bus ride to work. The bus driver let him off on the return run.

My cousin wearing her out of place "Princess" party dress?... predictable. Her brother serenading us on his accordion?...seen it all too often. But, as I gaze up in amazement, he, a fellow New Yorker, sporting a Boston Red Sox baseball cap?... now, THAT's unbelievable!

When you press the button for the elevator and someone else comes along, they look at you and then press the button again, like you forgot to and you're just hanging around, waiting for them to come and press it for you. (Side note) The harder you press, the faster the elevator comes...

I'm with you here. Don't know why they bothered with the "no driving while on a cell phone laws" (to name one attempt at some control) when no one seems to follow them and they're not enforced.

@toyotaboy: that's pretty much what I have over here. Prepaid plan for voice and a monthly (prepaid) plan for data. All I need it for is some surfing, apps, and email while on the road. All the rest is covered by wifi. The voice is just for emergencies and very rare occasions of actual usefulness.
