I don't make plans until much closer to the date. My b'day is in November. Last year we took a weekend trip to Portland and went to the opera (Figaro), plus brunch and shopping with my sisters. Hard to top that.

We named our hamsters William and Theodore after Bill and Ted; they had a huge habitat that was definitely an excellent adventure.

My earth shoes. Not particularly attractive or stylish, but very cony and still looking new after 3 years of nearly daily wear. I especially love that they are slightly elevated at the ball of the foot, causing my to stand and walk with proper alignment and relieving stress on my damaged spine.

it varies by day. Today is definitely PaleOMG, because we are doing two weeks of paleo eating (no sugar, dairy, gluten, etc) and I've found the recipes and general tone of this blog to be my favorite. I've been browsing during all my down time today.
