How Much Do We Love
"A podcast hosted by Sara Davis & Rob Lindley.
A little, a lot, obsessive, or not at all. Half a country and different opinions are the only thing that separate these two long-distance friends as they compare notes on things they find awesome (or not), from ice cream to celebrities to music to booze."Sara is a friend of mine and it's amusing to listen to her and Rob kibitzing about things they like. I attended a live episode in Chicago in February. Lots of fun!

I don't think about such things too much, but these two things have been with me for a long time.
Years and years ago, a bowling leaguemate who knew I liked rabbits got this one out of one of those grabby claw boxes at the bowling alley and gave it to me. I put it in my bag and it's been there ever since, about 20 years.
Sixteen years ago when I moved back to Minneapolis, a different bowling friend gave me this penny with a star-shaped hole cut out of it. I think he did use the words "good luck." I put it on my keychain and it's been there ever since.
Neither of these things gets in my way so they just stay where they are.

Just on Sunday as I was watching Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal slug it out, I said that I thought it would be interesting to follow Mirka Federer around for a week. I know that's not quite the same as being Mirka Federer for a day, but that's what I got!

I inadvertently went on a little staycation yesterday and found myself for the first time at Minnehaha Falls, which is right in the middle of town. It was very picturesque, and the fact that I didn't plan anything that happened yesterday (beyond my first stop at a farmers market) made it a little special.

If I have takeout leftovers, I quite often am known to eat them for breakfast the next day (I'm not counting cold pizza in this—that is a perfectly valid breakfast food). However, today I was not in that situation. And as much as I love eggs and toast in the morning, I just never think of it for supper. But I guess that's the point of the mission. Hmm.

You've seen a couple of other breakfast options for me since I've been playing on TT. Here's a new one that has become a regular in the rotation—the Egg White and Turkey Bacon Daybreaker breakfast sandwich from Caribou Coffee—reasonably healthy, surprisingly filling, and not too expensive.

I'll take jpdproduction's route and show one of those FB random album covers. I meant to recreate a real album cover today, because it's the holiday weekend and I have time and all, but ended up being outside all day. Now I'm just exhausted so this is what you get. I do like it, though.

When I'm on the road, sometimes I really like the rest area (services) vending machine espresso. It's so watered down that the "espresso" ends up being a reasonably strong black coffee. Sometimes, it just tastes really good.
