Remember a couple of months ago when we had the "something you don't like that everyone else loves" mission, and I said french fries and you all thought I was crazy? Well, the only thing that make french fries mildly tolerable for me is to eat them with mayonnaise. You heard me.

  That's totally normal in the Netherlands. 'Till going there I thought that was weird but having tried it, oh, yum. Mayo makes everything better.

  I hated mayonnaise for years... then suddenly a year and a half ago- BAM fell in love. Great with fries. Aioli even better though!

  The best way to eat fries! I corrupted Stephie ;) Indeed, everything tastes better with mayo. Other Dutch fries specialties include fries with peanut sauce ... yum.

  I had a friend who went to Europe in elementary school - swore up and down that Europeans ate "albino tomatoes" and her proof was that her fries came with white mayo. I ended up on a German exchange trip several years later, discovered the real story, and have not stopped making fun of her for the past 25 years!

  I love dipping fries in mayo~! got turned onto it at Disney World when my dad said people in other countries did it so I tried it and it was delicious :)
