A lot of things inspired me as a child... doozers (Fraggle Rock), Star Wars, Transformers, Robotech, but I believe that Terminator is what inspired so much as to influence my career choice.

@leopicado I understand what you really mean, but superficially if you think dogs don't have a voice then please stay at my house on any night of the week when the dog wants to go out (or in) at 3AM. @kellydna: No, the owner won. I had 5 different people standing by ready to adopt them if I didn't find the rightful owner. Plus, it was good to see that Lucy can share the house with others.

These two very cold, hungry dogs started following me while I was walking Lucy last December, after a huge snow storm.
What can I say? I am a sucker for dogs...
I made a flyer but I didn't post it anywhere. I kept them in the garage for a couple of days while debating "what to do?"
I called the SPCA and asked if anybody had lost two dogs in my Zip Code. After 20 minutes of questions, descriptions and backs-and-forths the lady on the phone found a close match. I called the number I was given and the very next day I met their owner and safely returned them. They spent 4 days with us, but they had been missing for 8 days. They had escaped and walked almost two miles in 24 inches of snow.-

@sethness: You build up so much speed you need to break... a lot towards the end. This was the occasion in which I hit the tree. No broken bones, but I had some good bruises and cuts to remember the ocassion.

I skateboarded for a couple of years as a teenager. It was cool but painful at times. I decided to stop when I almost broke my leg on the half pipe... Good memories though! =o)
