Freshest Looks - girl in white hat
I was renaming one approved and one new ad that we are running on Facebook for Hat Club (client). "Freshest Looks" refers to leading ad copy, and "girl in white hat" refers to the ad image for the approved ad. I renamed the new ad "Freshest Looks - girl in blue hat".

as I looked the house that would be my first home, I looked for a house that seemed to need improvements. I wanted something that needed love. and for the last 17 months, the house has been a metaphor for myself, a slow, but constant, work in progress. the colors are just the beginning...

@msherr: I meant to comment on the day that I pass a Valspar plant twice a day on my commute. Unfortunately, it seems to have been shut down for the last year or so, but the building is a bit iconic in Minneapolis as it's all painted up on the outside. Good color choices!

I was a bridesmaid in a high school friend's wedding. at the reception, her younger brother gave me this rose and asked me to promise never to throw it away. he was intoxicated, and likely high, at the time, and would probably not remember it now. nevertheless, I made a promise. that was 3 or 4 years ago.

I've officially been awake for 2 hours, and "white rabbits" is the second thing I've said aloud upon waking up. the first was my coffee order about 15 minutes ago. funny how when you live alone, you can go quite a bit of time each morning before saying anything aloud. now, talking to myself in my head or talking via letters on a keyboard are another matter entirely. ;-)

the image is from a silhouette photo shoot during my days as a hip hop dancer. the piece was initially made as a gift for someone else, but in the end, I decided to keep it for myself. it's hanging on my bedroom wall.
