Niceness of dwelling vs. overall happiness. Not a lot of correlation until recently. In fact one of the most enjoyable times was when I was living in a mouse-infested flat with three friends on a street known for kerb-crawlers.

an empty pot of body lotion. But I love the panda on the lid, and I keep saying I'll use it for ... something. Also, my new camera is coming soon, but sorry for the blur in the meantime :P

Haha. It's a panda scorning you with its tongue and loving you with its eyes; how could you get rid of it? I vote for hot gluing a magnet on the inside and putting it on your fridge.

This is a heart-shaped post-it note with 'have a lovely day' written around the edge! I left it stuck to a grass-effect stool outside a place that sells delicious sausages (Banger Bros., if anyone knows Portobello Market). EDIT: just realised it wasn't hidden at all. Darn! Okay, I went back and hid another one among the leaflets for a local cinema. :D

That is a beautiful image with the posts leading out to sea. It's so hard to photograph water in strong sunlight; I think the cloud worked in your favour to create a very atmospheric picture.

A spring in a nearby village forming a beautiful pond. The spring also rises very close by and becomes the source of the River Wandle. The ducks seem to like it too.

Is it for marking fabric? (You lay coated paper that's a bit like carbon paper on the fabric. You put your pattern on the top. Then you roll the spikey tool over the pattern, paper and fabric to trace the pattern outline.) Amirite?

My decent camera has now died. If you can tell from my phone camera this is a vase of cheesy plastic glowing tulips. :D They were part of a wedding gift from my aunt; she also gave us radiator keys, a tool box, cookery books, a glowing USB hub with plastic fish in it, and cushions. Now I have the tulips, I sort of like them. And my aunt is great.

I have a chant to remind me what I need every morning: 'Money-mobile-makup-munchies-music-keys-pass'. Apart from my phone (used to take the picture) and munchies (didn't bring my lunch today), it's all there. Plus my wedding ring, which I forgot first time. I don't own a watch.

Doing a jigsaw after dinner and listening to Savage Love (offscreen, obviously). Note: The much better camera at the top is actually held together with brown tape and doesn't work most of the time.

This is odd, as it's in the heart of my local area. There have been settlements in this spot since at least 600-800AD. It's been well-recorded since 1086. There is no new town. There cannot be a new town. I have no idea why the sign says, 'New Town'.

Shoes I bought on Thursday, in my hunt for flat, black,attractive shoes. They look cute with the cut-out flower shapes, but when it rains... On the other hand, I can run for the bus in them and it feels like flying! Heels make running a real pain.

Good find! Very cute and comfortable looking... not always an easy combo to find. As for the rain, your feet will get wet no matter what, those holes might actually make it easier for them to dry.

I made a boat out of pearly pink paper and took it to South Bank in London to launch Little Boat with my friend Spi. We set it sailing by throwing it out into the River Thames, and it was still floating down the river towards the sea when we left.
