Is a wedding really worth the time and money?
My cousin-in-law: Yes it is....
My sister: I'm still out on that one. I wish I'd picked some vacation destination that family/friends could afford and did a destination wedding. If I could do it again - I'd go even smaller than I actually did. Don't do a jp though....you need some kind of celebration!! (Cause I want to buy pretty dresses for me & baby girl!)
My hippy college friend: a fun elopement would be more worth it!

@jenaissance: How old is he? There were some monsters that were pretty scary. A couple had their little ones with them in the theater we were in (maybe three years old) and I was worried about them. The monsters were scary!! If you think your son can handle monsters, bring him. It was fun (if a bit cheesy) and quite enjoyable!

I went to see the Percy Jackson movie this past weekend, and wanted to read the rest of the books, so I bought the first and second one. Good thing I grabbed the first one, because it is very different from the movie! I don't usually read young adult fiction like this, but it's easy for my soft brain right now. And it's fun!

My name is Meghan. In the year of my birth, I am sad to say it was all the way up at 65 in the top 100 names of the year (1985) but I love the story of why my mother picked it, so I forgive the popularity.
My mom named me after the main character in the novel The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough. I guess it might have something to do with the mini-series, but she claims it was really the book. I'm not sure why she gave me Meghan, because the character is Meghann. I just read that. I'll have to ask her. So, I am named after a girl who sleeps with her priest.I like it a lot because of the spelling. The H is important to me.

I had an awesome wedding and it cost next to nothing! my dress was $200, my cake was $125, tux rental was $80, everything else (church, ceremony, reception +food, etc) was free, and we had about 75 friends and family with us.
