I used to be annoyed by kids...
Then after a decade of watching everyone I know get older, slower, more cynical and generally less fun I decided that kids are extremely awesome. Especially the ones that are raised by cool parents. -

PF Chang's:
The same greasy sugar-coated americanized crap you could find at any corner shack, only marked up another 200% and served in a nightmare of stucco and pretension with the word "bistro" slapped on for good measure.
It never fails, whenever I'm in a group trying to decide where to go, somebody brings it up. It's the only restaurant I've ever refused to visit.
...and the last time I caved (it was a friend's birthday dinner) I got food poisoning. I thought I was eating a small fried shrimp-body... that's what it looked like. Later I realized there were no shrimp bodies in the dish... the spiky thing with small appendages coming off was more likely a cockroach.

Agreed. And, a word to Yelpers-"all my chinese friends love it" is not so much a plus for PF Changs as it is an indication your friends, regardless of ethnicity, have no taste.

as long as you put enough horseradish and lemon on them so that you can't actually taste the oyster at all, and swallow them whole so that you can't really feel the slimy texture, they're great!

The Panasonic RX-5050 boom box
Used to listen to "Thriller" on tape on this thing back when I was 4. The internets say it's from 1983, which means my mom probably bought it when it was new and handed it over to me when I was old enough to use it.
It also has a built in mic, me and my friends would record "radio shows" when we were kids on this thing.I think I'll probably be buried with it :p
